Powered Prompts is a Chrome browser extension that helps users save and quickly insert prompts into AI chat interfaces. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

What We Store

Powered Prompts stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage API:

1. Your Prompts
   (pm_prompts_v1)
   • Prompt title and content
   • Tags and folder assignments
   • Favorite status
   • Creation and modification dates
2. Your Folders
   (pm_folders_v1)
   • Folder names for organizing prompts
   • Folder hierarchy structure
3. Your Settings
   (pm_settings_v1)
   • Keyboard shortcut preferences
   • Default action preferences (insert, copy, insert+send)
   • Generic fallback toggle setting
4. Remembered Placeholders
    (pm_remembered_placeholders_v1)
   • Previously entered values for prompt placeholders (e.g., {{name}})
   • Stored to auto-fill placeholders you’ve used before
   • Can be cleared at any time through settings

Where Data is Stored

All data is stored using chrome.storage.local, which means: – Data never leaves your browser – Data is saved only on your local device – Data is not synced across devices – Data is not accessible to us or any third party

• Personal identification information
• Browsing history
• Websites you visit
• Content from AI chat conversations
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Device information

• IP addresses

Third-Party Services

Powered Prompts does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external servers. The extension operates entirely offline and locally.

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.

Data Security

Your prompt data is protected by: – Chrome’s built-in extension security model – Local-only storage (no network transmission) – Shadow DOM isolation preventing CSS/JS conflicts

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Export: Use the export feature to download all your prompts as JSON
• Delete: Clear all data by removing the extension or using Chrome’s extension data clearing
• Access: View all stored data through the Options page
