Affiliate Policy — PlaceScale Pro

This Affiliate Policy governs participation in the PlaceScale Pro affiliate program (“Program”). By applying to, accessing, or using the Program, you agree to this policy.

1) Program access and portals

Affiliate reporting, referral links, commission details, and payout settings are managed inside the Affiliate Portal.

2) Eligibility and approval

Participation is subject to review and approval at our sole discretion.
You must provide accurate information and keep your account details current.
You are responsible for all activity under your affiliate account.

We may reject or remove affiliates whose sites, channels, content, or practices are misleading, unethical, illegal, or incompatible with the PlaceScale brand.

3) Referral links, tracking, and cross-domain tracking

3.1 Referral links

You must use referral links generated in the Affiliate Portal.
Do not modify, cloak (to hide the final destination), or obfuscate referral parameters in a way that breaks tracking.

3.2 Cross-domain tracking

PlaceScale supports cross-domain affiliate links and tracking across:

A referral may be credited even if a visitor clicks an affiliate link on one domain and completes checkout on the other—when technically possible.

3.3 Tracking limitations

Tracking is not guaranteed. Attribution may fail due to factors outside our control (including browser privacy settings, cookie restrictions, content blockers, private browsing, device switching, network policies, or third-party security tools).

4) Qualifying purchases and commission rules

4.1 Qualifying purchase

A “Qualifying Purchase” is a completed, paid transaction for PlaceScale Pro that:

is properly tracked to your affiliate account,
is not fraudulent or abusive,
is not refunded, charged back, reversed, or unpaid,
and completes the Locking Period (Section 5).

4.2 Covered products

Qualifying purchases may include:

Lifetime Deal licenses (initial launch period), and
Annual Subscription licenses (later offering).

Commission rates and eligible products are defined in the Affiliate Portal and may differ by product, plan, promotion, or period.

4.3 Net revenue basis

Commissions are calculated on net revenue actually received, excluding:

taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax),
chargebacks and reversals,
refunds and credits,
any amounts we do not ultimately collect.

4.4 Refunds and reversals

If a purchase is refunded or reversed for any reason, the related commission will be voided and may be deducted from current or future payouts.

4.5 No self-referrals

You may not earn commissions on:

your own purchases,
purchases made using your own payment methods,
purchases made through accounts you control,
purchases intended to game or simulate legitimate referrals.

5) Locking Period (50 days)

5.1 Pending vs. locked commissions

All tracked commissions start as Pending.

5.2 Locking Period duration

A commission becomes Locked only after 50 days have passed from the customer’s purchase date, provided the transaction remains valid (not refunded, charged back, reversed, or flagged as fraudulent).

5.3 Effect of refunds during Locking Period

If a refund, chargeback, reversal, or invalidation occurs during the 50-day Locking Period, the related commission is void and will not become Locked.

5.4 Eligibility for payout

Only Locked commissions are eligible for payout (subject to the minimum payout threshold and other requirements in this policy).

6) Payouts

6.1 Minimum payout threshold

Minimum payout threshold: USD $50
Balances below the threshold roll over to the next payout cycle.

6.2 Payout schedule

Payouts are processed monthly for Locked commissions.
Commissions must be Locked and meet the minimum payout threshold to be included in that month’s payout.

6.3 Payout method

Available payout methods and required payout details are configured in the Affiliate Portal. You are responsible for providing correct payout information.

6.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations related to affiliate earnings in your jurisdiction. If tax details are required for payout, you must provide them accurately.

7) Promotional guidelines

7.1 Required disclosures

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you promote PlaceScale Pro (e.g., “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”) in compliance with applicable laws and platform rules.

7.2 Honest representation

Do not make false claims, guarantees, or misleading statements about PlaceScale Pro.
Do not imply endorsement, partnership, or employment beyond being an affiliate.
Do not misrepresent pricing, discounts, availability, or roadmap.

7.3 Prohibited tactics

You may not:

send spam (email, DMs, comments, forums, or unsolicited bulk messaging),
use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or forced redirects,
use adware, malware, spyware, or deceptive downloads,
impersonate PlaceScale or represent yourself as the “official” site,
publish fake testimonials, fake comparisons, or fake scarcity,
manipulate tracking, attribution, or conversions by any technical or behavioral means.

7.4 Coupons and deals

Only promote coupons/deals explicitly provided or approved in the Affiliate Portal.
Any published coupon must match the exact terms (expiry, plan eligibility, restrictions).

7.5 Paid ads and bidding restrictions

Unless explicitly approved in writing:

Do not bid on our branded terms (e.g., “PlaceScale Pro”, “PlaceScale”, “Ruhani Rabin”) or close variants.
Do not use our brand name in ad copy in a way that implies official ownership (e.g., “official site”, “official discount”).
Do not run ads that violate platform rules or this policy.

8) Brand and intellectual property

Use only approved PlaceScale Pro brand assets as provided (or explicitly approved).
Do not register or use domains, subdomains, social handles, or pages that include “PlaceScale” / “PlaceScale Pro” or confusingly similar variants.
Do not alter logos or create confusingly similar marks.

9) Compliance and data handling

You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies (including advertising and disclosure rules).
If you collect personal data (e.g., via your newsletter or lead capture), you are solely responsible for lawful collection, consent, storage, and use.

10) Monitoring, audits, and enforcement

We may review affiliate activity for compliance, including traffic quality, conversion patterns, and promotional practices.

Violations may result in:

commission reversal,
payout holds,
account suspension or termination,
permanent removal from the Program.

Fraud or attempted fraud may result in forfeiture of unpaid commissions and additional action where appropriate.

11) Termination

You may leave the Program at any time by discontinuing use and/or closing your affiliate account.
We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated this policy or pose a risk to customers or the PlaceScale business.

Upon termination:

Qualifying commissions earned prior to termination may still be paid if compliant, Locked, and not subject to reversal.
Commissions tied to fraud, abuse, or policy violations will not be paid.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
