Open PlaceScale → Settings → SEO.

Enable sitemap

Setting:

• Generate XML sitemap for PlaceScale pages

When enabled, PlaceScale provides an XML sitemap containing your published generated pages.

Sitemap filename

Setting:

• Sitemap Filename

Example: placescale-sitemap.xml

PlaceScale enforces the .xml extension.

Viewing the sitemap

The SEO settings screen shows the sitemap URL and “Last updated” timestamp.

Flushing the sitemap cache

If you need a refresh:

• Go to PlaceScale → Tools
• Click Flush sitemap cache

Submitting to search engines

Common approach:

• submit the sitemap URL in Google Search Console / Bing Webmaster Tools

Troubleshooting

• If the sitemap URL returns 404, confirm it’s enabled and flush rewrite rules.
• If changes don’t appear, flush the sitemap cache.
