Bulk Generate

Open PlaceScale → Bulk Generate.

This screen creates pages for every selected combination of Term Set 1 × Term Set 2.

Recommended workflow

Start with Draft pages and a small term selection first. Once the template output looks right, scale up.

Generates real pages

Bulk Generate creates WordPress posts immediately. Use Skip existing combinations to avoid duplicates.

Step-by-step

1. Choose Term Set 1

   1. Select a Type (e.g. service).
   2. Select the terms you want.
   3. Use Select All / Deselect All if needed.

2. Choose Term Set 2

   Repeat the same steps for Term Set 2 (commonly location).

3. Choose a template

   Under Template & Options, select a template.

   If your template contains AI Slots, Bulk Generate can optionally generate them during the run.

4. Configure options

   • Page Status: Draft / Published / Pending Review
   • Skip existing combinations (recommended) Recommended

5. Preview

   Click Preview to see a sample of:

   • title
   • URL
   • a content snippet

   Preview can also warn about quality issues (e.g. unresolved placeholders or very short content).

6. Generate

   Click Generate Pages.

   Bulk Generate runs as a chunked batch using a start/tick/cancel loop from the admin UI.

   You’ll see progress and a results summary:

   • Created
   • Skipped
   • Errors

Publishing Scheduler integration

If drip publishing is enabled in Settings → Publishing, Bulk Generate may show:

• Use Publishing Scheduler (queue as drafts, publish gradually) Optional

When checked, selecting “Published” will queue pages as drafts and let the scheduler publish them over time.

Bulk Generate + AI Slots

In Settings → AI, you can control whether AI Slots are generated during bulk generation:

• Generate AI Slots during bulk generation Costs tokens

AI costs

If bulk AI slot generation is enabled, Bulk Generate will call your provider and may incur token costs.

• When enabled: pages are created and AI Slots are filled during the same batch.
• When disabled: pages are created using AI Slot fallback content. You can generate slots later via the AI Slot Queue.

AI Slot options with USP placeholders

When AI Slot generation is enabled during bulk generation:

• USP placeholders ({usp_1}, {usp_2}, {usp_3}, {usp_1l}, {usp_2l}, {usp_3l}) are automatically resolved from term metadata
• Style presets selected in the AI Slot block are applied
• Content length settings are respected

Prompt template guard

If an AI prompt template includes “sample prompts” but has no placeholders, PlaceScale ignores those samples to avoid accidental, irrelevant prompts.

After generation

Go to PlaceScale → Generated Pages to review, edit, publish, regenerate, or run bulk actions.
