AI Connector

AI Connector is a dedicated key management screen.

  • Keys are provider-specific (you save a different key per provider).
  • Keys are encrypted at rest.
  • Keys are never shown back to the browser after saving.

You usually open it from Settings → AI using:

  • Manage API key…

Save a key

Section titled “Save a key”
  1. In PlaceScale → Settings → AI, choose your provider.
  2. Click Manage API key… to open AI Connector.
  3. Paste your key into API key.
  4. Click Save key.
  5. Go back to Settings → AI and use Test connection.

Reset a key

Section titled “Reset a key”

Reset a key if the saved value is wrong (for example, poisoned by autofill or pasted incorrectly).

  1. Type RESET in the confirmation field.
  2. Click Reset key.
