I would recommend you to wait for HTC official upgrade otherwise You need to Root your phone to upgrade to Froyo.. Which may void warranty. Some of the commenters on the video said they have issues with Froyo. So it would be thoughtful to wait for HTC to release the upgrade officially.

Thanks Jeff 4G Evo will not be here anytime soon I think. The mobile networks need to get upgraded first before it can cater for Evo 4G. HTC is planning some upgrades for upgrade to Froyo and they will publish it within the upcoming months. If they don't then I will find and gather the information for Froyo upgrade procedure.

Yes the Face Detection works pretty flawlessly Sorry I didn't upload any photos with real people face detection due to privacy violation.

Hi Mukundan, Optical Zoom requires the lens to move physically so there is not enough space available in a smartphone to accommodate a moving lens space.. this is one of the main reason optical zoom is not included..

From the first image of this post you will be able to notice it has only single LED.

The camera quality is good. It would have been much better if it has a optical zoom and xenon flash. But I think even very expensive models don't have optical zoom. Also I want to know whether its dual led or single led. Good post.
