I remember when I was a young boy I did finish all my homework and pray to the clock to reach faster to 9PM. Why? My Dream show on TV, what else. I’ve been fan for technology, robots, aerospace and any Sci-Fi all my life. It was like if I miss one episode then life would be meaningless. Anyway I remember one day I was with my mom and dad, attending a social party. Later on I fall asleep and my mom was carrying me back home and I was dreaming of driving KITT while my mom was carrying me. In fact it did make strong impression on my mind that I was shadow driving the car. Yeah I know it’s hilarious but I would give anything to go back to that time.
When NBC announced the movie event on 2008, I was anxiously waiting to see my childhood hero, the machine. On February 2008 the Knight Rider re-appear on the screen with a new look and new features. I love the car because it’s a Muscle Car. The Car used for the new Knight Industries 3000 is a 2008 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500KR. Some of the upgrades are impressive and some are not. From my point of view the Car have to be more Impressive in a manner of features. Well they have shown the magic of NANO Technology that the car can heal itself and KITT is been plugged with the Latest technologies like Internet and so on. The Knight Rider 2008 was actually a test to gain the weight of the people whether they want the new series to be start or not. There was a huge feedback from people that they want to see the series start again in new dimension. Finally they’ve planned to do more research and preparing it for the TV again. It is scheduled at the Fall to return as TV series on Wednesdays. This time the man behind the KITT 3000 wheel is the son of Michael Knight (Knight Rider Original).
I’ve manage to make a mash-up or you can say a remix of this TV series pilot event.. mostly focused at the return of KITT 3000. Music is Inspired by Brian Tyler Feat. Slash’s guitar instrumental called “Mustang Nismo” featured in the Fast and The Furious : Tokyo Drift. I found the music most appropriate because KITT 3000 is a Mustang GT500 KR.
