FileHippo updatechecker checks and updates your softwares

FileHippo.com has a cool piece of sofware which can report what are the softwares in your systems can be updated online and it can send you to appropriate sites when you want to update. It scans your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to filehippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download. The download is 100KB (Wow) but it requires the Microsoft .net framework 2 to be installed in your system. It's small and free and it doesn't play with your privacy, which means it is NOT a spyware or adware. The Update Checker works on any Windows PC running Vista, XP, 2003, 2000 or 98.
